About this site

This site was created to provide parents with everything they need to know about Jewish schools in one place. Its aim is to help parents find a Jewish school and make informed choices about their children’s education. It will also give pupils an insight into the school they could be attending.  It is a guide to the wonderful variety of provision available in Jewish schools.
 
It seeks to answer frequently asked questions about Jewish schools and to provide contact details for further queries.  The map view allows parents to find a Jewish school in their area which will then take them to a particular school page with more detail.
 
The site was established in response to a recommendation in the Jewish Leadership Council's report on The Future of Jewish Schools’ published in July 2008.
 
The JLC, the UJIA and the Board of Deputies worked in partnership to establish the site which demonstrates the commitment of each of these organisations to excellent Jewish education.
