Bushey Gan was established over 35 years ago by the Bushey United
Synagogue. It offers a secure, caring and stimulating environment for up to 76
children aged from 2 to 5 years, within a warm Jewish atmosphere.
Bushey Gan provides an excellent educational start for children to learn through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as well as learning the basics of Judaism, providing them with essential skills and knowledge for life in the context of Jewish beliefs and values. The Gan was judged as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED.
The Saplings class is situated in the Bradley Krett Youth building. The Willow, Elm and Oak classes are situated in the main shul building. There are dedicated toilets and nappy changing facilities and the classes open onto an outdoor playground with safety flooring.
The school is registered with Hertfordshire County Council and OFSTED and is managed by headteacher Ms. D. Boder-Cohn, supported by the deputy/SENCo, Mrs. M. Peters.
