Gilah is an Orthodox Jewish nursery for children from the age of 2 years until primary school. The nursery organises its sessions so that children can choose from, and work, at a variety of activities and in doing so build up their ability to select and work through a task to its completion. The children are also helped and encouraged to take part in adult-led small and large group activities, which introduce them to new experiences and help them to gain new skills, as well as helping them to learn to work with others.

Gilah Nursery is open for about 180 days a year.  It is open five days a week, for three hour sessions between 9am and 12:15pm. Gilah offers extended care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am until (for older children) 2:00pm or 2:15pm. From time to time it also has afternoon sessions for younger children between 1:00pm and 3:30pm.
