Pinner Jewish Kindergarten is a small friendly nursery located in the Henry Jackson Centre of Pinner Synagogue providing quality pre-school education within a welcoming, safe and caring environment. Children enjoy learning to develop as individuals, through its programme of intellectual, social, creative and physical activities. Birthdays at PJK are celebrated with the children cooking their own cake and sharing this with their friends at nursery during a special Kabbalat Shabbat.
During term children at PJK benefit from visits to the local park, library and also have the opportunity to visit Moriah Jewish Day School, where the majority of the children continue their education. The nursery received a positive report from Ofsted and staff at PJK work closely with Harrow Early Years to ensure the highest standards are maintained and that staff are continually updated on current best practice. As well as the Early Years curriculum children also enjoy a full and varied year of celebrating the chagim, and Tribe from the United Synagogue has supported these.
The nursery is open five mornings a week from 9am to 12.30pm but children can join for three, four or five mornings a week.
