Edgware Jewish Primary School is an independent co-educational school currently based in Barnet (Hammond Close, off Mays Lane, EN5 2EQ) whilst the school building is re-built. Edgware Jewish Primary is normally located in Edgware, Middlesex and became voluntary-aided in January 2011. The school opened with a Nursery and Reception class in September 2006. There is an intake of 30 children per year and the school currently has places in Years 2-4.
EJPS is an orthodox school and aims to encourage a strong commitment to orthodox Jewish practice, Torah values, the love of Israel and educational excellence. It follows the National Curriculum and teaches sixty per cent secular studies and forty per cent Kodesh studies. The school welcomes a broad range of families, all of whom have a shared commitment to Shabbat, Kashrut and community involvement together with ongoing learning and religious growth.
